Job Description
What We Need Jim Gay, CPA is looking for a candidate with proven accounting and tax-related knowledge, confident technology and software skills, and a self-motivated attitude. Our office is comprised of accountants (CPA, EA, and non-certified) from all different backgrounds, working together to serve a wide array of small business accounting needs and individual tax services. Our firm needs a staff accountant to join the team as a tax accountant, working primarily with individuals and small business clients. The candidate will be responsible for tax preparation and cleanup accounting tasks for year-end corporate tax clients. What You Bring The ideal candidate will possess the following skills/qualifications:
- Proven knowledge of advanced accounting and knowledge of high-level tax concepts
- Bachelors in Accounting (CPA or EA is a plus)
- Experienced use of both QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online (QBO Certification a plus)
- Advanced use of basic Office365 software
- Ability to manage workload as part of the larger workflow What We Offer Candidates can expect the following benefits:
