Corporate Staff Accountant

Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Multi-Family Apartment Staff Accountant with a comprehensive understanding of property-level full cycle accounting to join our team in Boca Raton, FL.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for Full-Cycle Accounting . Core functions include accounts receivable and prepaids, accounts payable and accruals, overall general ledger maintenance, bank reconciliations, and depreciation/amortization. Comprehensive Real Page or equivalent knowledge for tenant billing management is preferred. Prepare monthly financial packages with supporting workpapers and balance sheet reconciliations. Ensure all reporting is accurate and in accordance with US GAAP standards . Provide monthly and year-to-date budget vs. actual variance analysis . Work in conjunction with operations to implement and maintain all accounting workflows. Prepare annual budget and reforecast. Act as a liaison to external parties, including internal and external auditors. Oversee internal controls and enforce company accounting policies. Provide training to new and existing staff as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required; a master's degree and/or CPA is preferred. Minimum of 3 years of related real estate accounting experience . Strong preference for candidates with Real Page experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong analytical skills.
