Monday-Friday Compensation:

$75,000-$80,000 + performance-based bonus

Controller About the Opportunity A stable and growing organization is seeking a strong Accountant to join its accounting team in a high-visibility role with a clear path to Assistant Controller. Experience and accounting knowledge are more important than formal education for this role. Key Responsibilities Maintain and support the General Ledger, including preparing and posting journal entries Ensure accurate flow of transactions to the Balance Sheet and Income Statement Reconcile key accounts including: Property, Plant & Equipment (PPE) Accumulated Depreciation & Depreciation Expense Accounts Receivable / Sales Accounts Payable / Inventory Perform monthly and periodic reconciliations including cash and credit card reconciliations Assist with month-end close and financial reporting processes Support AP/AR functions as needed Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure financial accuracy and compliance Assist with process improvements and support ongoing growth initiatives Qualifications Strong understanding of General Ledger accounting Experience with account reconciliations and financial statement impact Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Stable work history with strong tenure preferred Motivated to grow into a higher-level accounting role Degree not required; experienced bookkeepers or staff accountants with higher-level accounting experience are encouraged to apply Additional Information Established accounting team with strong employee retention Supportive and collaborative work environment Excellent long-term growth opportunity Standard benefits package including medical, dental, and vision PTO begins on day one and increases with tenure
