Staff Accountant

Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical Senior Accountant to support our accounting team. This role is critical in ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and proper accounting for inventory, cost of goods sold (COGS), and revenue in a high-volume eCommerce environment. The ideal candidate has strong experience in inventory accounting, month-end close, and NetSuite, and thrives in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment. Responsibilities Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes. Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations in accordance with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Reconcile credit card deposits, record customer payments, and review AP payment runs. Reconcile inventory subledger to general ledger. Review and monitor inventory in transit, landed costs, and purchase price variances Work with the sales team with customer invoice adjustments, credit memos, sales tax exemptions and refunds. Review and process customer sales tax exemption certificates, review and approve sales tax returns and handle state sales tax notices. Support the AP coordinator and assist in Ad-hoc projects as needed.

Required:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 4-7+ years of accounting experience Strong knowledge of US GAAP Advanced Excel skills NetSuite strongly preferred

Preferred:

CPA or CPA candidate NetSuite strongly preferred Experience in eCommerce, retail, or consumer products
