Staff Accountant:

Prepare and post journal entries to maintain the general ledger and support month-end and year-end close processes. Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger balances to ensure financial accuracy and integrity. Apply GAAP-compliant revenue recognition standards in the preparation of financial statements and reports. Review and classify credit card transactions to ensure proper coding and timely entry into the general ledger. Process and approve employee travel and expense reimbursements in accordance with company policy. Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records in compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements. Assist with the preparation of schedules and documentation for external audits and internal reviews. Analyze financial data to support cost control initiatives and identify opportunities for improved efficiency. Support the Controller with ad hoc projects and special assignments as needed.
