Job DescriptionJob Description The Senior Tax Accountant plays a critical role in ensuring compliance with tax laws, managing financial reporting related to taxation, and providing strategic tax planning support. This position requires expertise in tax research and client consultation while staying abreast of regulatory updates to optimize tax processes and outcomes. Responsibilities Ensure accurate and timely tax compliance Prepare and review all type of tax returns, 1040, 1120, 1120S, 1065, 990, 1041 Prepare and review financial reports related to taxation Develop and implement effective tax planning strategies Conduct thorough tax research to resolve complex issues Consult with clients on tax-related matters Monitor and interpret updates in tax regulations Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in tax accounting Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification Preferred Qualifications Experience with tax preparation Knowledge of GAAP and IRS regulations Proficiency in tax software such as Ultra Tax Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Advanced Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks skills Advanced QuickBooks desktop and online
