Sr. Accountant

Position SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Accountant to support the organization's accounting operations, financial reporting, and month-end close processes. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data, maintaining compliance with accounting standards, and supporting process improvements across the finance function.

This position requires strong technical accounting knowledge, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments in a fast-paced environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and review monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statementsLead and support month-end and year-end close processesAnalyze financial results and investigate variancesMaintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy of accounting recordsAssist with preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting packagesSupport external audits by preparing schedules and responding to auditor requestsEnsure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policiesMonitor and improve accounting processes and internal controlsAssist with fixed asset accounting, accruals, prepaid expenses, and balance sheet reconciliationsPartner with cross-functional teams to support operational and financial initiativesMentor junior accounting staff and provide guidance as neededParticipate in special projects and process improvement initiatives
