MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Associates degree in business or related field. Two (2) years of related experience and/or training.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors Degree in business or related field. Five (5) years of related experience. Relevant work experience or education may be substituted to satisfy minimum qualifications.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Clear and concise oral and written communication skills; organizational and management skills. Knowledge of pertinent regulations, policies, and procedures for the functional area of assignment. Knowledge of HIPAA, Public Records, Sunshine Law, FERPA, and other laws/regulations related to student and employee privacy, public information, and records retention. Knowledge of and experience with industry-standard equipment, materials, practices, computers, and applications. Ability to professionally and effectively respond to customer needs and requests for service or assistance.

5/9/23 Responsibilities Operate office equipment, especially computers with in-house software programs. Provide accurate information to others, demonstrating specific knowledge of governmental accounting, federal and state legal statutes, and Board policies. Write and interpret financial budgets. Ensure compliance with internal, state, and federal accounting guidelines. Use effective oral and written communication skills, especially over the telephone. Organize self to accomplish tasks related to goals and prioritize items to discuss with supervisor. Provide customer-friendly service through the interaction with people at all levels of the school system and community. Perform reconciliations related to District accounting procedures. Take responsibility of training others in business financial functions. Work effectively under the stress of time, personnel shortages, and multiple requests. Perform Medicaid administrative claims reimbursable activities as directed in accordance with Chapter 3 of the federally approved School District Administrative Claiming (SDAC) Guide.
