Job Description

Youngquist Brothers LLC is a privately owned well drilling company, proud to be vertically integrated, self-sustaining, and busier than we have ever been. Leaning on over 50 years of experience in the field, Youngquist Brothers well drilling division is the leader in large diameter deep injection well drilling, with the introduction of the E-Rig allowing us to stay at the forefront of drilling technology. We are actively seeking a person with bookkeeping / accounting experience to work in our Contract Department assisting on the many projects we have throughout the state.
Schedule:
Monday - Thursday 7am-5pm and Friday 7am-4pm full-time
Location:
Onsite at our headquarters in Fort Myers, Fl. Insurance benefits after 90 days including medical, dental, vision, life and supplementary (AD&D, STD, etc.), 401K.
Job Requirements:
Serve as a assistant to our VP of Contracts during contract execution, preparing and submitting monthly financial reports. Analyze contract terms, conditions, and financial provisions to ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory standards, and accounting principles. Collaborate with senior management to develop and submit bid proposals, including cost estimates, pricing structures, and financial projections. Maintain and organize comprehensive contract files, including procurement records and financial documentation, ensuring audit readiness and proper record retention. Monitor multiple contracts simultaneously, ensuring deadlines, billing cycles, and financial deliverables are met accurately. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal, particularly regarding financial matters. Qualifications /
Skillset:
Prior experience in with exposure to financial tracking, billing, or accounting processes preferred. Strong understanding of contract interpretation, including financial clauses, invoicing terms, and compliance language. High School Diploma or GED required, Experience in Accounting, Contract Administration, or a related field is a plus. Experience with Sage accounting software and Oracle Primavera is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting. Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple financial and contractual priorities simultaneously.
