Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Senior Staff Accountant to join our finance team. This role is integral to ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting the company's accounting operations. Key Responsibilities Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closes, including preparation of journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations. Perform general ledger account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance. Maintain and analyze general ledger accounts to ensure proper classification and reporting. Assist in preparing financial statements and management reports. Perform variance analysis and provide insights to improve financial performance. Work closely with Accounts Payable to ensure accurate coding, timely payments, and proper expense recognition. Manage full cycle accounting processes, ensuring timely and accurate recording of transactions. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve accounting discrepancies and ensure timely reporting. Support audits by providing documentation and responding to inquiries. Qualifications Bachelor's degree required -preferably in Accounting; Finance, Economics, or other business-related fields will also be considered. 2+ years of accounting experience (public or corporate). CPA or CPA eligibility preferred. Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles. Skills Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and advanced functions. Proficiency in accounting software (ERP experience a plus). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
