In this role, you will be responsible for managing a wide range of accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial standards and regulations. Your expertise will help maintain the integrity of our financial data, support budgeting and reporting processes, and contribute to the overall financial health of our organization. Duties Prepare, review, and analyze journal entries, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) Conduct balance sheet reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable management, and account analysis to ensure accuracy of financial data Manage payroll processing using systems such as ADP, Paychex, Kronos, or UltiPro, including payroll management and tax compliance Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures, including general ledger reconciliation and financial statement preparation Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, PeopleSoft, or Ceridian for data entry and financial reporting Support internal controls compliance with SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) requirements and assist with internal audits Assist in budgeting processes, financial forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making Requirements Proven experience in corporate accounting, governmental accounting or non-profit accounting environments Strong knowledge of GAAP standards and technical accounting concepts Hands-on experience with various financial software including Workday, Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, Ceridian, ADP or similar platforms Familiarity with payroll management systems such as Paychex or Kronos Ability to perform detailed account reconciliation, journal entries, and double-entry bookkeeping efficiently Excellent math skills with high accuracy in data entry (10 key typing skills preferred) Strong understanding of accounts payable/receivable processes and tax regulations related to payroll and corporate taxes Demonstrated ability to analyze financial data accurately and communicate findings clearly Experience working in public accounting or within a fast-paced finance team is highly desirable Join us as an Accountant and become a vital part of a forward-thinking organization committed to excellence in financial management.
