Full Job Description Position Type:
Permanent, Full time Executive Summary We are currently seeking a strategic financial professional to oversee the fiscal health and operational reporting of a diverse real estate portfolio for our client. This is not a traditional, data-entry-heavy accounting role; the day-to-day accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger functions are managed by third-party property managers. The successful candidate will act as the high-level financial architect for the ownership group, providing critical oversight, sophisticated analysis, and professional reporting to lenders and investors. This role requires a unique hybrid of accounting expertise and asset management judgment.Primary Responsibilities Third-Party Oversight:
Conduct rigorous monthly reviews of financial packages prepared by external property managers to ensure accuracy, compliance, and operational alignment.Strategic Reporting:
Author and present comprehensive financial reports for lenders and investors, translating complex data into clear performance narratives.Budgeting & Forecasting:
Analyze and review annual operating budgets, challenging assumptions and identifying opportunities for cost optimization.CAM Reconciliation:
Oversee the Common Area Maintenance (CAM) reconciliation process, ensuring precise execution in accordance with lease agreements.Operational Coordination:
Serve as the primary liaison between ownership and third-party managers to resolve financial discrepancies and ensure property objectives are achieved.Asset Performance Analysis:
Maintain a deep, "big-picture" understanding of each asset's financial and operational performance to provide proactive insights to leadership.Candidate Profile Judgment-First Mindset:
