This role is ideal for someone looking to build a well-rounded accounting foundation, with hands-on exposure across the month-end close and full accounting cycle. The team is looking to develop this individual into a broader accounting professional over time.
- Key Responsibilities
- Support the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
- Prepare and post journal entries, including recurring and adjusting entries
- Calculate and record accruals and prepaids
- Perform account reconciliations (bank, balance sheet, and key accounts) and resolve discrepancies
- Assist with financial statement preparation and internal reporting
- Partner with internal teams to gather data and improve accuracy of financials
- Provide ad hoc support to Accounts Payable as needed (not a primary responsibility)
- Contribute to process improvements and documentation as the accounting function evolves
