What You'll Do:
This is a developmental role with a clear path to Accounting & Tax Manager within 12-18 months. You'll start by building technical depth and client knowledge — and grow into direct advisory work. In your first year, you will: Manage monthly accounting and financials for ~20-25 clients Prepare business and individual tax returns (1040, 1065, 1120) Close books for tax prep and support clean, accurate filings Assist with payroll and sales tax compliance Join (and eventually lead) client conversations around financial clarity Review and mentor Staff Accountant work Shadow advisory meetings and build tax planning knowledge Progressively own client relationships based on competency and readinessWhat This Role Isn't :
A grind-it-out tax shop Solo desk work with no support Bureaucratic, micromanaged, or stuck in old ways You won't find 60-hour weeks, disorganized chaos, or clients who don't respect our work. Progress toward EA or CPA (or already licensed) 3+ years in accounting or tax prep (1040, 1120, 1065) Experience in monthly bookkeeping and payroll compliance Strong QuickBooks skills Attention to detail, coachability, and clear communication Team-oriented mindset — we rise by lifting each other You'll Fit inHere If You:
