Staff Accountant

About us McLeod Land Services Inc, is a Commercial General Contractor specializing in road work, site work and concrete. Our company is looking to hire a Staff Accountant to help with the day-to-day accounting activities of the business. The successful candidate will be a critical member of the accounting team and will be responsible for performing general ledger reconciliations, accounts receivable and accounts payable activities, as well as assisting with various projects. This individual should possess a strong attention to detail and a positive outlook. Previous experience in a multi-entity location is required, as is the ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities:

Prepare journal entries requiring a solid understanding of debits and credits. Accurately record and organize accounting records and data. Process and reconcile intercompany transactions. Communicate with co-workers and financial professionals. Utilize Excel and spreadsheets to increase efficiency

Full-time Pay:

$23.00 - $26.00 per hour
