We are experts in the Healthcare, Education, and Commercial/Industrial sectors. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to support our finance and operations teams. Position Summary The Senior Accountant will play a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end close processes, and ensuring financial reporting integrity across the organization. This role requires a strong accounting foundation, analytical mindset, and the ability to collaborate across departments in a fast-paced, project-driven environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare and review monthly financial statements and supporting schedules. Assist with month-end and year-end close processes. Reconcile general ledger accounts and bank statements. Analyze financial data and identify discrepancies, trends, and opportunities for improvement. Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities. Maintain fixed asset schedules and depreciation records. Assist with audit preparation and provide supporting documentation. Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and internal controls. Prepare journal entries and maintain accurate accounting records. Collaborate with project managers and operations teams regarding job costing and project financials. Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll review as needed. Support continuous improvement initiatives within accounting and finance processes. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 5+ years of progressive accounting experience. Construction industry experience preferred. Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles. Experience with job costing and project-based accounting is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software/ERP systems. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
