Company Summary We are a well-established financial and tax practice based in Maitland, FL, seeking a talented CPA or Enrolled Agent to join our team. This role offers broad exposure across tax disciplines, corporate accounting, estate planning, and regulatory compliance — ideal for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment. Position Functions and Responsibilities Prepare and review complex federal, state, and local tax returns ensuring full regulatory compliance Assist with estate planning activities including wills, trusts, and estate law considerations Conduct detailed financial analysis and interpret financial reports to support tax strategies Support mergers & acquisitions through due diligence and integration of financial data within tax frameworks Maintain accurate general ledger records and perform balance sheet reconciliations Support internal audits and ensure adherence to SOX controls for financial reporting integrity Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, TaxProLink, or similar platforms for bookkeeping and financial statement preparation Perform account reconciliation including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations Assist with regulatory reporting related to securities law and non-profit accounting when applicable Strong Candidates Are Detail-oriented with a strong command of GAAP and technical accounting standards Experienced in tax preparation with a working knowledge of IRS rules and compliance Familiar with estate planning, wills, trusts, and estate law Proficient with accounting software such as QuickBooks or TaxProLink Strong analytical thinkers who can interpret complex financial data accurately Excellent communicators who can present financial information clearly to management Able to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field CPA or Enrolled Agent (EA) license preferred Proven tax experience with strong understanding of GAAP Experience with SOX compliance and IRS regulations Knowledge of securities law, private equity, or M&A concepts is a plus
