FUNCTION

Is accountable for the accounting operations of the company, to include the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or international financial reporting standards. 2.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES A.

Management 1. Maintains a documented system of accounting policies and procedures. 2. Manages outsourced functions. 3. Oversees the operations of the accounting department, including the design of an organizational structure adequate for achieving the department's goals and objectives. 4. Oversees the accounting and audit operations of the Revenue Audit Department, especially their control systems, transaction-processing operations, and policies and procedures. 5. Oversees the accounts payable function, ensuring timely payments and discounts are taken. 6. Oversees the accounts receivable function, ensuring payments are collected promptly. 7. Oversees the Payroll process, ensuring payroll is distributed in a timely manner 8. Ensures that periodic bank reconciliations are completed. 9. Ensures that required debt payments are made on a timely basis. 10. Maintains the chart of accounts and an orderly filing system. 11. Maintains a system of controls over accounting transactions. B. Reporting 1. Issues timely and complete financial statements. 2. Manages, tracks and updates Capital Expenses to financial statements. 3. Coordinates the preparation of the corporate annual report. 4. Recommends benchmarks against which to measure the performance of company operations. 5. Calculates and issue financial and operating metrics. 6. Manages the production of the annual budget and forecasts. 7. Calculates variances from the budget and report significant issues to management. 8. Provides for a system of management cost reports. C. Compliance 1. Coordinate the provision of information to external auditors for the annual audit. 2. Monitor debt levels and compliance with debt covenants. 3. Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings. 4.

EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE A.

Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration, or equivalent business experience and 10+ years of progressively responsible experience for a major company or division of a large corporation. B. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel program required. C. Preference will be given to candidates with the Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designations. D. Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge of Sage accounting program E. Valid Gaming License.

Pay:

$80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
