We are seeking a Construction Staff Accountant who manages day-to-day financial records, prepare reports, reconciling accounts, and supporting tax and auditing processes. General Ledger & Closing:
Maintain the general ledger, prepare journal entries, and assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.Reconciliations:
Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts monthly.AP/AR Support:
Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring accurate coding and payment.Analysis:
Analyze account variances and assist with budgeting and forecasting Corporate Credit Card bill back to internal entities The Construction Staff Accountant must have the following skills andExperience:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field 1-3 years recent experience (mid-Level preferred) Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) and experience with ERP software (SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks). Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet strict deadlines. While certification such as CPA or CMA is not mandatory for entry-to mid- level staff accountant roles, additional credentials can enhance career growth. Key skills include proficiency in accounting software, spreadsheet tools, attention to detail, analytical thinking, and strong communication abilities.
