This Financial Accountant opportunity offers the chance to play a key role in financial leadership, project profitability, and strategic decision-making while collaborating with international finance teams and supporting continued organizational growth.
Location:
United States. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Financial Accountant position include: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; CPA designation is a strong asset. 3-5 years of progressive accounting, financial analysis, or auditing experience, preferably within construction, project-based accounting, or professional services environments. Prepare and maintain financial records, journal entries, general ledger accounts, financial statements, management reports, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses. Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes while ensuring compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements. Monitor project costs, budgets, profitability, billing activities, cash flow, and financial performance across multiple construction projects. Utilize advanced QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel skills to support reporting, financial analysis, and process improvements. Develop financial models, dashboards, forecasts, and business analyses to support strategic initiatives and organizational growth. Supervise and mentor accounting staff while serving as a key liaison between operational leaders, executives, auditors, banking partners, and international finance teams.
Salary:
$65,000 - $85,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
