regulations, and industry-specific mandates (such as FDA and SOX controls). This role requires a unique blend of technical accounting expertise, experience with complex revenue recognition, and a deep understanding of manufacturing cost structures and clinical trial accounting.

Core Responsibilities Inventory & Cost Accounting:

Oversee the cost accounting cycle for manufacturing operations. This includes analyzing purchase price variances, tracking overhead absorption, monitoring inventory valuation, and evaluating supply chain efficiency.

R D and Clinical Trial Accounting:

Track, allocate, and manage costs specific to clinical trials, research partnerships, and grant funding. Work closely with clinical teams to manage accruals and milestones. Revenue Recognition (ASC 606): Manage complex contracts and collaboration arrangements. Analyze the financial impacts of in-licensing/out-licensing transactions, royalty agreements, and milestones to ensure proper revenue recognition.

SEC Reporting & SOX Compliance:

Support the preparation of quarterly and annual financial filings (10-Q and 10-K). Maintain, document, and enforce internal Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls to ensure flawless audit readiness.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Partner with FP&A, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Legal teams to align actual financial data with budgeting and forecasting models.
