Job Description

RMC Group is looking for a full-time Senior Accountant to join our team! Your primary responsibility will be to assist the finance department in creating accurate and timely financial records for the organization. This is an intermediate to senior position that will report to the Controller. Responsibilities Assist in preparing accounting records, including financial statements and other financial reports, to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to standards defined within the department Report the finances of the organization to the Controller Establish records of accounts and input entries into proper accounts, heavily regarding intercompany transactions, amortization entries, etc Accounts payable duties including entering and weekly payables reports Assist in yearly Audits, preparing financials, gathering and uploading to audit portals Assist in claims entries and payables regarding our Captive Insurance division Prepare forms and manuals for accounting and bookkeeping personnel Reviewing junior and staff accounting work performed to ensure accuracy Internal accounts Cash Flow Reporting, recording daily bank transactions and EOM Reconciliation Additional responsibilities related to accounting Qualifications Quickbooks and general accounting experience (5+ years) Excellent organization as well as time and financial management capabilities Ability to effectively communicate with colleagues and clients, both written and verbal Attention to detail and thorough when working on projects Associates degree in Accounting preferred, but not required Excellent PC skills including, but not limited to
Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and QuickBooks Pay:
$55,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
