The Role The Construction Project Accountant plays a key role in ensuring financial control and performance across projects. You will partner closely with Project Managers and leadership to provide accurate reporting, cost visibility, and proactive financial insight. Key ResponsibilitiesProject Financial Management Monitor project budgets, costs, and forecasts Analyze cost performance and identify variances Maintain accurate cost tracking and allocation Provide financial insights to support project decision-making Billing & Revenue Recognition Prepare and submit client invoices (progress billing, AIA, etc.) Track accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments Ensure compliance with contract terms and revenue recognition standards Accounts Payable & Subcontractor Management Review and process subcontractor and vendor invoices Verify lien waivers, insurance certificates, and compliance documents Manage retainage tracking and releases Budgeting & Forecasting Support development of project budgets and forecasts Update cost projections based on project progress Assist with change order pricing and financial impact analysis Prepare and monitor project cash flow Reporting & Compliance Produce monthly project financial reports Ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting standards Support audits and provide required documentation Collaboration Work closely with Project Managers, Estimators, and Operations teams Proactively communicate financial risks and opportunities Contribute to improving financial processes and systems Benefits 4 weeks paid annual leave Comprehensive health insurance 401(k) with 6% employer match Exposure to high-end, design-led construction projects International Mobility possible within the Ateliers de France Group (Europe, Middle East, Canada, North USA, etc.) Strong growth and development opportunitie s within a fast-growing US structure Direct collaboration with leadership and real impact on projects Please send your application to : lucille.poirier@ateliersfrance.com
