Full Time, Salary Exempt Working closely with the Accounting Manager, this position supports a wide range of accounting and financial reporting activities—both day-to-day and specialized.

Responsibilities:
Reconcile balance sheets monthly to ensure accurate and complete records. Assist with all aspects of accounting operations and preparation of annual financial budgets, monthly financial statements, and other accounting reports and projects. Prepare, review, upload, and post journal entries. Manage fixed assets, tracking approval, and classification. Participate in the month-end close process; perform monthly duties assigned to facilitate timely close, including reporting. Responsible for the Worker's Compensation monthly calculation for accrual purposes. Create and provide reporting tools on a monthly, annual, and as needed basis. Identify and develop reporting and help establish and track key metrics. Ability to work proactively, prioritize tasks and to manage time effectively. Perform additional responsibilities and complete projects as needed.
Skills/Qualifications:
4+ years of experience within the accounting field. Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or relevant field. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel (pivots, lookups, etc.). Knowledge of accounting principles/practices, internal controls, and relevant laws and regulations. Strong attention to detail and a desire to assume new responsibilities. Ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner. Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance, and ability to work overtime, nights and weekends if needed. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and responsive to feedback. Must be able to read, speak, and write in English.
