Position Summary:
Your Impact (Essential Duties): Assist in forensic accounting investigations by gathering and analyzing financial data, identifying discrepancies, and reconciling accounts Support the preparation of initial case documentation, exhibits, and financial summaries for litigation and dispute resolution matters Learn and apply foundational valuation methodologies under the guidance of senior team members Analyze financial statements, tax returns, and other business records to assist in damage calculations and valuation analyses Draft clear and concise summaries, reports, and presentations for internal and client review Collaborate with team members to maintain organized case files and ensure accuracy in documentation Perform other duties and display flexibility to take on a variety of responsibilities assigned by firm leadership Meet annual billable hour and other targets to fulfill individual and team performance and overall firm productivity Your Background:
Demonstrated interest in forensic accounting, litigation consulting, or valuation analysis through coursework, internships, or related experience Accounting track: Certifications:
CPA, CFE, CFF, CVA, CBA, or ABV license or eligible. Education:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field Paralegal track: Florida Registered Paralegal or similar credentials or eligible. Education:
Associates degree in related field Understanding of basic accounting principles, including debits/credits, journal entries, and financial statements Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with financial databases Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Ability to follow procedures and deliver high-quality, reliable work Ability to work independently while proactively seeking support as needed to maintain efficiency and productivity Full-time commitment and flexibility to work beyond regular hours to meet team deadlines Reasonable accommodations will be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job Sorren is an equal opportunity employer Why Choose Us?
