Chartered Financial Analyst Full Job Description Key Responsibilities:
Conduct forensic accounting investigations related to domestic litigation, including divorce, asset tracing, and financial fraud cases. Analyze financial statements, tax returns, bank records, and other financial documents to uncover discrepancies and irregularities. Assist attorneys and clients with financial analysis and provide expert opinions for litigation cases. Prepare business valuations, economic damages calculations, and other financial models. Develop detailed reports, exhibits, and presentations to support litigation cases. Provide litigation support, including expert witness preparation and testimony assistance. Work closely with clients, attorneys, and internal team members to develop case strategies and ensure accurate financial reporting. Stay up to date with forensic accounting best practices, regulations, and industry trends.
Qualifications:
CPA required; ABV or CFA designation is a plus. 8+ years of experience in forensic accounting, litigation support, or related fields. Strong knowledge of domestic litigation matters, including matrimonial disputes and financial fraud cases. Experience with business valuation, asset tracing, and financial modeling. Excellent analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, forensic accounting software, and financial modeling tools.
Pay:
Up to $190,000.00 per year
