Job Description

Job Description We are looking for a staff accountant who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced, and collaborative environment to join our team. This person will be an essential part of our accounting department and will be responsible for various account reconcilations in addition to other clerical & accounting responsibilities. If you have experience in construction management and have done heavy balance sheet reconciliations, job cost and commission tracking, your skills will translate well to this position. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of accounting concepts and will be able to efficiently complete tasks on deadline with accuracy. This is an excellent opportunity to learn and gain experience within a growing company. Comprehensive knowledge of QuickBooks, advanced MS Excel and cost accounting required.

Client billing and accounts receivable Accounts payable Bank and credit card reconciliations Special projects General administrative tasks
Requirements:
Proficient in accounting concepts- must thoroughly understand double entry accounting Five (5) or more years of QuickBooks experience required. Advertising, professional services or construction background preferred. Advanced knowledge of Excel and desire to learn. Ability to work independently with close attention to details with emphasis on accuracy Ability to prioritize numerous tasks and meet deadlines Strong problem-solving skills Proficiency with computers and learning new programs Desire to grow with the company. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Polished, professional appearance and demeanor Positive attitude!.
Preferred:
Associate's/bachelor's degree in accounting
