Accountant

Responsibilities:

The Accountant is responsible for managing the financial aspects of assigned projects, including budget tracking, cost analysis, billing, and reporting. Close collaboration with project managers, operations, and other departments to ensure that project financials are accurately recorded and aligned with company policies and objectives. Set up and maintain project cost structures in the accounting system. Monitor project budgets, committed costs, and actual expenditures. Prepare and review project-related invoices, purchase orders, and change orders. Process client billings in accordance with contract terms and ensure timely collections. Review subcontractor/vendor invoices for accuracy and compliance with contract terms. Perform monthly financial reconciliations and prepare variance analysis for related projects. WIP reports, cash flow forecasts

Requirements:

2 years of recent construction or project accounting experience Bachelors Degree preferred but not required Excel proficiency and ERP experience to include

Sage, Oracle, or Great Plains Pay Details:
