Senior Accountant

We're partnering with a dynamic, privately?held company on the north side of town that's looking to bring a high?impact Senior Accountant onto their growing team. The client has a track record of promoting from within and is targeting someone interested in long term growth opportunities.

Responsibilities:

Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities Prepare and post journal entries; reconcile balance sheet, accrual, and intercompany accounts. Lead variance analysis for income statement and balance sheet accounts, identifying trends and resolving discrepancies Generate and deliver financial reports to support finance and operations decision-making Ensure compliance with US GAAP, SOX, and internal controls while supporting audits, process improvements, and ERP enhancements

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA preferred 5+ years of progressive accounting experience Experience with a large ERP system Manufacturing or distribution experience preferred Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with a demonstrated process improvement mindset Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
