  • Alpharetta, GA Expert Technical Solutions is seeking a Senior Accountant
  • Revenue for a 3+ month contract opportunity based in Alpharetta, GA.
This role will support the Revenue Accounting team and will be responsible for ensuring revenue is accurately recorded, balance sheet reconciliations are completed timely, and monthly close deadlines are achieved. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in revenue accounting, US GAAP knowledge, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. This position requires a detail-oriented accounting professional who can operate independently while building strong relationships across the business.

Software / Technology Key Responsibilities Support assigned product lines and legal entities within the revenue accounting function Ensure global revenue and related expenses are accurately recorded in accordance with US GAAP Perform and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations and resolve reconciling items in a timely manner Support monthly close activities and ensure close deadlines are consistently met Understand SLA requirements and escalate issues proactively when needed Build strong cross-functional relationships with internal business partners Maintain a strong understanding of how assigned responsibilities impact the overall accounting process Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance within all assigned accounting activities Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 4-7 years of related accounting experience Strong understanding of US GAAP accounting principles Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail with a structured and methodical approach Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong interpersonal and communication skills Preferred Qualifications Experience within software or technology company environments Strong knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition Experience with Salesforce and/or Sage Intacct CPA designation preferred but not required Ability to build effective working relationships across internal and external teams Environment / Key Technologies
