Staff Accountant

Our growing client is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical General Ledger Accountant to add to their established team. In this role, you will help manage key accounting operations, ensuring financial data accuracy and supporting the organization's accounting processes.

The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in general ledger accounting, enjoys working with financial systems and data integrations, and is interested in developing expertise in healthcare accounting and financial operations. Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with general ledger accounting activities for a multi-entity medical practicePrepare, review, and post journal entries in Sage IntacctSupport month-end close processes, including account reconciliations and reportingMaintain and update fixed asset schedules, including depreciation trackingPerform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepanciesAssist with data integration between Accounts Payable, Billing, Payroll, and the general ledgerHelp ensure accurate expense classification and financial codingAssist with payroll-related journal entries and reconciliationContribute to internal financial reporting and audit preparationCollaborate with cross-functional teams to improve accounting workflows and data accuracy
