Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Sr. Accountant to join a growing finance team in Carrollton, Texas. This role will oversee core accounting activities across the monthly, quarterly, and annual close cycle while helping maintain accurate financial records and operational reporting. The position also supports cash activity, inventory-related accounting, and audit readiness, while contributing to stronger controls and more efficient processes.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead recurring close activities by preparing journal entries, recording accruals, and completing balance sheet reconciliations on schedule.
  • Maintain the integrity of the general ledger by reviewing transactions, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable workflows to support timely processing and proper documentation.
  • Monitor cash activity, perform bank reconciliations, and help maintain visibility into daily and periodic cash positions.
  • Handle inventory accounting tasks, including tracking balances, reviewing variances, and supporting accurate valuation.
  • Assist with annual audit preparation and provide financial documentation needed to satisfy lender reporting requirements.
  • Evaluate accounting procedures and recommend improvements that enhance efficiency, consistency, and internal control effectiveness.
  • Contribute to budgeting and forecasting efforts by compiling financial data and supporting analysis for planning purposes.
