Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, and thorough Accountant to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, managing day-to-day accounting operations, and ensuring compliance with relevant statutory regulations. The ideal candidate possesses strong numerical proficiency, a deep understanding of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS), and the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights for management.

AssociateResponsibilities Financial Reporting:
Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement) in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.
General Ledger Management:
Perform daily accounting tasks, including journal entries, accounts payable/receivable oversight, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations.
Month-End & Year-End Close:
Lead or assist in the timely closing of financial periods, ensuring all ledger accounts are reconciled and discrepancies are resolved.
Tax Compliance:
Assist with the preparation and filing of local, state, and federal taxes, ensuring adherence to legal requirements and deadlines.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
Collaborate with department heads to compile budgetary data, monitor variances, and provide financial forecasts.
Audit Support:
Prepare documentation and schedules to assist internal and external auditors during annual reviews.
Process Improvement:
Evaluate existing accounting procedures and recommend internal controls or software optimizations to improve efficiency and data integrity.
