This is a strong opportunity to learn and grow with our organization while handling a broad range of corporate financial accounting duties that support the business and guide financial decisions. You'll work closely with the Director of Financial Accounting and the CFO. We're looking for someone who is smart, dedicated and professional.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
In this role you will manage key corporate accounting functions such as: Financial reporting, closes, and compliance
- month
- and year-end closes, financial summaries, forecasts, variance analyses, and key reports for leadership and external parties; health benefit plan accounting, PCI compliance, business licenses, property taxes, and government reports; plus ad hoc analyses, policy maintenance, training, mentoring, and system audits.
Cash, banking, and treasury activities
- including reconciliations, daily cash reporting, funds transfers, stop payments, and foreign currency. Investments and fixed assets
- portfolio oversight with weekly leadership reporting, policy maintenance, monthly audits, reconciliations, and consolidated reporting. Airline revenue programs
- analysis of backend override programs, executive summaries, allocation processing, and coordination with Revenue Accounting on deductions and recoveries.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Bachelor's degree in Accounting. 5+ years of broad-based general ledger accounting experience in a small or midsize company (privately held company or travel/hospitality industry experience is a plus). Strong Excel and computer skills, exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and organizational skills to manage priorities and deadlines. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a collaborative, can-do approach. This is a 100% in-office position at our Duluth, GA headquarters.
