Job Description

We are engaged in a search for a Senior Accountant with a growing manufacturing organization. This position will support the Controller and assist with day to day accounting operations, month end close activities, reconciliations and financial reporting in a fast paced environment.
Responsibilities include:
Prepare month end journal entries and support accurate financial close processes Reconcile bank accounts and maintain general ledger integrity Prepare internal and external reporting packages including bank and corporate reporting Analyze ledger activity and prepare adjusting entries for intercompany balances Manage and reconcile transitory bank accounts and cash activity Coordinate duty drawback programs with internal and external partners Support internal and external audits along with special accounting projects Assist with accounts receivable and accounts payable activities as needed Support training and mentorship of new team members Collaborate cross functionally to improve accounting processes and reporting accuracy
Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in Accounting or related field 5+ years of accounting experience Strong understanding of US GAAP accounting standards SAP ledger experience preferred Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills required Strong analytical, organizational and problem solving abilities Experience working in a fast paced team environment Strong communication and presentation skills Ability to manage multiple priorities independently
