$75,000 - $85,000 + Full Benefits Our client is a growing construction and infrastructure organization seeking a hands-on Project Accountant to support branch-level financial operations. This is a critical role responsible for owning day-to-day accounting functions, supporting project financials, and partnering closely with operational leadership. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys being in the weeds , working closely with project teams, and having a direct impact on financial performance. Position Overview The Project Accountant will be responsible for managing accounting functions for a branch location, including job costing, financial reporting, and month-end close activities. This role will work closely with the Regional CFO and local leadership to ensure accurate financial tracking and reporting across projects. Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including AP, AR, and general ledger activities Perform month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting Track job costing, WIP reporting, and project financial performance Support budgeting and forecasting processes in partnership with leadership Ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP and internal policies Assist with audits and maintain strong internal controls Partner with project managers and branch leadership on financial insights Maintain and analyze financial data using Excel and accounting systems Qualifications 3-5+ years of accounting experience Experience in construction, manufacturing, or project-based accounting environments strongly preferred Strong understanding of job costing and project financials Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems (NetSuite or similar preferred) Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally

Compensation & Benefits Base Salary:
