Job Description

Cost Analyst Permanent Lawrenceville GA 6 Degrees Group Our client is a manufacturing company looking to add a detail-oriented Cost Analyst to their accounting and finance team. This role sits at the intersection of accounting and operations, managing product costing, analyzing variances, and supporting pricing decisions across the business. It's a great fit for someone with a manufacturing background who enjoys digging into the numbers behind how products are built and priced. This role is fully in office.
Responsibilities:
Maintain and update product costing information in the ERP system for new and revised products, including routine cost roll-ups Analyze changes in raw material, packaging, and labor costs and assess their impact on product margins Perform cost analysis including purchase price variance, inventory lot cost updates, manufacturing job variance analysis, and inventory adjustments Manage customer costing files used to establish sales pricing
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business 2+ years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment Strong understanding of Bill of Materials and unit of measure conversions Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with ERP systems required
