A local Hawaii based company is looking for an Accountant to join their team and support day-to-day financial operations while helping ensure accurate reporting and compliance across the organization. Hours Full-time, Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:30pm Location Honolulu, Oahu Pay $65,000 to $80,000 a year, Based on Experience Responsibilities Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and supporting documentation. Perform account reconciliations, including bank, credit card, and balance sheet accounts. Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes. Prepare financial reports and assist with analysis as requested. Process journal entries and ensure proper documentation. Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed. Assist with audit preparation and respond to auditor requests. Maintain accurate and organized financial records. Monitor compliance with internal controls and accounting policies. Identify discrepancies and recommend corrective action. Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes as needed. Other duties may be assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. Minimum 2 years of accounting experience required (2-4 years preferred). CPA or CPA candidate preferred but not required. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Strong communication and teamwork skills. #
