This permanent opportunity is suited for a finance specialist who brings strong technical accounting knowledge, sound judgment, and the ability to manage several priorities at once. The role works closely with the Accounting Manager and supports accurate reporting, compliance activities, and day-to-day accounting operations. Responsibilities:
Prepare monthly and periodic financial statements using accrual-based accounting principles, ensuring accuracy and timely completion. Maintain the general ledger by recording journal entries, reviewing account activity, and supporting a smooth month-end close process. Reconcile bank accounts and balance sheet accounts, investigating discrepancies and resolving issues promptly. Assist with audit preparation, tax-related documentation, and activities required to meet regulatory obligations. Produce and update internal financial and management reports that help leadership monitor performance and make informed decisions. Partner with colleagues across accounting and other departments to support coordinated financial processes and organizational objectives. Support consolidation activities and verify the completeness of financial data across reporting entities when needed. Bachelor's degree in Accounting. At least 5 years of accounting experience, including hands-on work with financial statement preparation and consolidations. Proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics accounting software, Microsoft Office applications, and Adobe Acrobat. Strong working knowledge of general ledger maintenance, journal entries, account reconciliations, bank reconciliations, and month-end close. Ability to manage multiple assignments, adjust to changing priorities, and work effectively with limited supervision. Solid verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate professionally across teams. High level of accuracy, strong organizational skills, and a dependable approach to meeting deadlines. Comfortable using 10-key by touch and applying strong problem-solving skills in day-to-day accounting work.
