Job DescriptionJob Description Attention all Tax Accountants! The CPA Collective is looking for progressive individuals wanting to become a part of our team and help us make a difference in our community. We care about the wellness of those in our firm and are seeking tax accountants who are motivated to deliver our firm's mission of helping our clients succeed, while balancing the everyday personal and professional demands of life. Those selected to join our team would not only contribute to aiding our ever-growing list of prominent clients, but also help to mold our evolving firm into one we can all be proud of. Role and Responsibilities Preparation of business and individual tax returns Proactive identification of client tax issues, opportunities, and strategies Preparation of tax projections, including assisting clients with quarterly estimated tax payments Adhere to professional standards and strict client confidentiality Commitment to ongoing growth of technical skills and competency Developing and fostering meaningful long-term relationships with clients and other professionals Perform other related duties as assigned Qualifications and Education Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business Administration Minimum 1 year of experience in a public accounting firm, or equivalent work experience Hawaii CPA license preferred but not required Preferred Skills Experience with tax return preparatory work Experience with CCH Axcess or ProSystem fx applications Experience with Thomson Reuters Experience with Microsoft Office applications Experience with QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online applications Benefits Continuing education support Health, dental, and vision insurance Flexible benefit plan Retirement plan with 401(k) and employer matching Disability insurance Life insurance Paid time off
