Job Description

Accounting Coordinator A growing service company is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Coordinator to support their accounting operations and assist with project administration. This position plays a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting project profitability, and ensuring smooth communication between office staff, customers, vendors, and project teams. Key Responsibilities Prepare and process customer invoices accurately and timely. Manage accounts receivable activities, including payment tracking and maintaining aging reports. Process vendor invoices and maintain accounts payable records. Reconcile accounts and prepare via QuickBooks for month end activity. Assist with payroll and other accounting-related functions as needed. Support operations with project job costing tracking, collect/maintain/distribute lien waivers, coordinate certificates of insurance, and track project documentation and ensure compliance with customer requirements. Support project managers with administrative and project-related tasks. Maintain organized electronic and physical project files. Support leadership with special projects and reporting requests. Help maintain office organization and administrative procedures. Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or related field preferred. 2+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, construction accounting, or project coordination experience preferred. Experience with QuickBooks strongly desired. Understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, and basic accounting principles. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Strong communication and customer service skills. #

$25.01 - $30.12 per hour
