Job Description
Duties and responsibilities In addition to hands-on experience in Accounting or Finance, the Amsted Rail Finance Summer Internship will afford the intern:
- formal orientation and on-boarding
- regular interface with Finance leadership
- end of internship presentation to the Leadership Team
- interactions with our Senior Leaders throughout the program Qualifications
- Medium to Advanced Excel experience with knowledge of functions such as Vlookup and Pivot Tables
- Knowledge of General Accounting Guidelines (GAAP) and Sarbanes-Oxley controls (SOX)
- Motivated individual that is able to multitask and stay detail oriented
- Preferably an accounting/finance major completing sophomore year or higher Amsted Rail's commitment to
