RESPONSIBILITIES

Analyze and maintain product costing, standard costs, and inventory valuations Prepare and review monthly cost accounting reports, variance analysis, and inventory reconciliations Partner with operations, supply chain, and production teams to improve cost visibility and identify savings opportunities Assist with month-end close activities, journal entries, and account reconciliations Monitor inventory transactions, cycle counts, and physical inventory processes Evaluate labor, material, and overhead costs while identifying trends and inefficiencies Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives Develop and enhance reporting tools, dashboards, and KPI metrics Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls related to inventory and manufacturing accounting Participate in ERP enhancements and process improvement initiatives

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 2+ years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment Strong understanding of standard costing, inventory accounting, and variance analysis Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, JD Edwards, or similar platforms Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data analysis Knowledge of GAAP and manufacturing accounting principles Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to work cross-functionally and thrive in a growth-oriented environment
