Full-time About the Opportunity A well-established, growth-oriented company is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join its accounting and finance team. The selected candidate will play a key role in tax compliance, planning, and advisory work supporting multiple entities and stakeholders. What You'll Do Prepare and review federal, state, and local income tax returns for corporate, partnership, S-corp, and individual filings Manage quarterly estimated tax calculations and year-end provision work under ASC 740 Research complex tax matters and provide recommendations on planning opportunities and exposures Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors during reviews, audits, and examinations Assist with sales and use tax, payroll tax, property tax, and other indirect tax filings as needed Monitor changes in tax law and assess impact on the business Maintain accurate tax workpapers, reconciliations, and supporting documentation Support month-end and year-end close activities related to tax accounts Partner with accounting, payroll, and operations teams to ensure proper tax treatment of transactions Contribute to process improvement initiatives and the implementation of tax technology tools

What We're Looking For Required:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 5+ years of progressive tax experience in public accounting, industry, or a combination Strong working knowledge of federal and multi-state tax compliance Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs and tax preparation software Solid understanding of GAAP and tax accounting principles Strong analytical, organizational, and written communication skills Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently

Preferred:

CPA license or active progress toward licensure Experience with ASC 740 income tax provision work Familiarity with QuickBooks and/or similar ERP systems Exposure to multi-entity, pass-through, or consolidated return environments Experience with research tools such as CCH IntelliConnect, RIA Checkpoint, or Bloomberg Tax What's Offered Competitive base salary of $85,000 - $100,000 based on experience and qualifications Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits Retirement plan with employer contribution Paid time off and recognized holidays Continuing education and CPA exam support A collaborative team environment with senior leadership exposure How to Apply Qualified candidates are invited to submit a résumé and brief cover letter.
