Job Description

Tax Accountant $75,000 – $90,000 base salary We're partnering with a fast-growing firm that is expanding its in-house tax function and looking to add a Tax Accountant to the team. This newly created role is well-suited for a versatile tax professional who enjoys variety in their work, exposure to different entity types, and involvement in both compliance and advisory-focused projects—without the demands of traditional public accounting hours. Rapidly growing firm with plans to significantly expand in the near term Strong commitment to work-life balance and a positive culture Broad, hands-on tax role with exposure to multiple entity types and projects Semi-annual bonus structure (twice-yearly payouts) Collaborative team environment with the opportunity to help build and shape the tax function Key Responsibilities Prepare federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts, and corporations Assist with tax provisions and compliance reporting at federal and state levels Conduct tax research and support the development of tax strategies and planning initiatives Monitor changes in tax legislation and help implement required updates Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations Support IRS audits, special projects, and broader tax planning efforts Participate in ongoing training and stay current on tax developments Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (CPA or Master's in Taxation preferred) 2+ years of tax experience, including preparation of federal and state returns Solid understanding of tax compliance processes and tax software systems Strong Microsoft Excel and general Office Suite skills Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across teams Ability to manage multiple projects independently and collaboratively EB-6232594074
