Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Tax Accountant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in preparing tax returns for individuals and businesses, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
Responsibilities:
Prepare federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations Provide tax planning services to clients or internal stakeholders Reconcile accounts and maintain general ledgers Perform month-end and year-end closing processes Maintain accurate and organized financial records
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience in tax accounting and bookkeeping Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks & Lacerte) Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple clients or tasks and meet deadlines
