Staff Accountant

Gail Technology is seeking a full time staff accountant. This position will manage day-to-day accounting for the parent company and every project entity. The goal is detailed monthly ledgers, accurate intercompany, and a reliable data feed for bank reporting. Core responsibilities AP, AR, bank reconciliations, and intercompany entries across the parent and 5-10+ project SPVs.

Month-end close:

aim for a 10-business-day close on the parent and 15 days on the projects.

Construction draw packages:

tie pay applications to GL, support lender draws. Payroll administration (likely through Gusto, Rippling, or ADP). Sales/use tax filings, 1099 management, business license renewals. Coordinate with outside CPA on annual taxes, K-1s, and audits. Provide data and reconciliations into the bank reporting package owned by the Director of Finance.

Maintain SOX-light internal controls:

segregation of duties, approval thresholds, vendor onboarding. Required qualifications 3-5 years accounting experience, ideally in real estate, construction, or project-based businesses. QuickBooks Online proficiency required; experience with Sage Intacct or NetSuite is a plus given likely future scaling. Multi-entity and intercompany accounting experience. Comfort with Excel (pivots, lookups, basic models).

Pay:

$75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
