Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Fund Accountant to join our team and play a key role in managing fund operations and financial reporting. We are a dynamic investment management firm dedicated to delivering exceptional results for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate daily with the third-party administrator. Complete and accurate maintenance of fund books and records. Timely financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP. Accurate and timely investor reporting. Perform cash management activities. Initiating wires for investment purchases and fund expenses. Confirming wire instructions and processing draws/paydowns on credit lines. Reconciling capital calls. Assist with financial statement audits and regulatory compliance reporting. Review investor K-1s and other tax-related filings. Prepare and conduct analytical reviews of weekly and monthly fund performance and investor reports. Provide support to investment and client service teams for ad-hoc requests. Participate in special projects as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in fund accounting, public accounting or financial services. Strong understanding of US GAAP and investment fund structures. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with fund accounting systems is a plus.
