Job Description:
Senior Accountant Itasca, IL (Onsite) Summary Hands-on Senior Accountant role supporting a stable, growing, family-owned organization. This position plays a key role in day-to-day accounting operations, owning the month-end close and partnering with leadership to ensure accurate financial reporting and continuous process improvement.
Key Responsibilities Lead month-end close:
journal entries, GL, reconciliations, financial statements Support AP/AR, fixed assets, and payroll (~30 employees) Maintain ERP data integrity (Microsoft Dynamics Business Central) Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis Identify and implement process improvements and strengthen controls Collaborate cross-functionally across departments Qualifications 8+ years of general accounting experience Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills Advanced Excel proficiency ERP experience required (Business Central a plus) CPA preferred Why Join Collaborative, friendly culture Flexible hours and strong work-life balance Stable, growing industry Salary range: $100,000 - $110,000 If this aligns with your background, let's connect: ???? 312-453-8061 ???? michelle.barnard@lhh.com
