Direct Hire/Permanent Placement Summary Our client is at an exciting growth stage with a rapidly scaling portfolio of retail properties and an active development pipeline featuring national tenants. They are seeking a Senior Accountant to join a lean team and play a key role in building and maintaining the accounting infrastructure. This is a high-impact position with direct exposure to the Chief Accounting Officer and ownership, offering strong visibility and the opportunity to contribute to process development in a growing platform. The Role The Senior Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting operations, support month-end close, and assist with development and property-level financial activities. Key Responsibilities Own full-cycle accounts payable, including invoice processing, payments, and vendor management Prepare journal entries, perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations, and support month-end close Assist with construction accounting, including loan draw packages, budget tracking, and coordination with project teams Manage tenant billing, rent rolls, and support CAM reconciliations Contribute to cash reporting, process improvement, and documentation of procedures Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance Experience with Yardi and/or Procore 3+ years of experience in real estate, construction, or property management accounting Hands-on experience with AP, reconciliations, and month-end close Strong Excel and communication skills Preferred Experience with CAM reconciliations CPA or CPA track Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary + bonus Health insurance (majority employer-paid), 401(k), and PTO
